Trump's Speech Receives Positive Approval, Even Across the Aisle

44% of Arizona Democrats Have Positive Reaction

PHOENIX (March 6, 2017) – After President Trump delivered his first address to a Joint Session of Congress, OHPI surveyed Arizona voters who watched. Arizona voters gave the president a resounding thumbs up.

In a survey of 700 active registered voters across Arizona, Democrats and Republicans were screened so that only those who watched the address participated.

"The numbers indicate that President Trump clearly hit a home run with his joint session speech to Congress," said Mike Noble, managing partner and chief pollster at OH Predictive Insights. "As a Republican when you are getting a thumbs up from 44% of Democrats and 69% of Independents you're doing something right."
