State of the Arizona GOP Primary for Secretary of State & Treasurer
PHOENIX (June 18, 2018) – A new poll from OH Predictive Insights of likely Arizona 2018 Republican primary voters tested several of the other statewide offices' key Republican primaries and found a lot of voters who have not made up their minds.
"Reagan currently has the advantage although with so many undecided voters on the table her well-financed opponent should make this an interesting race to watch unfold," said Mike Noble, chief pollster and managing partner of OH Predictive Insights. "The race to be the Republican nominee for State Treasurer is currently wide-open."
In the Arizona Secretary of State Republican Primary, incumbent Michele Reagan leads political newcomer and self-funding challenger Steve Gaynor. Reagan leads 31–6 among the 47% of Republicans who believe Arizona is on the right track, narrowing to only 17–14 among the 26% who believe Arizona is heading in the wrong direction.
The Treasurer's race is wide-open, with Kimberly Yee just barely breaking double-digits at 10%. The vast majority of voters are undecided (87.3%).
