Single Digit Support for Current GOP Healthcare Plan
Trump favorable split among party lines
Phoenix, AZ (July 27, 2017) – For the last 6 months Washington has been tackling the future of Healthcare and another key vote is upon us. OHPI surveyed Arizona voters on current Healthcare policy plans and Trump's favorability numbers.
In a survey of 700 active registered Democrat, Republican, Independent and Non-Declared voters across Arizona, based on current active voter registration numbers:
"Half of Arizona voters believe we should keep the current Healthcare law and make revisions with one-third of voters wanting to Repeal and Replace," said Mike Noble, managing partner and chief pollster at OH Predictive Insights.
"When only six percent of respondents support a bill in Congress you really are down to the blood relatives of the staff that wrote the bill," said Wes Gullett, Partner at OH Predictive Insights and GOP Strategist.
OHPI also tested Trump's favorability numbers:
"The biggest takeaway from Trump's favorable numbers is that there is an enormous partisan divide," said Noble.
Methodology: Automated survey, July 26, 2017. Active Arizona registered voter sample. 700 completed surveys, MoE ±3.7%.
