Arizona Department of Health Services

The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) mission is to promote, protect, and improve the health and wellness of individuals and communities in Arizona. AZDHS was preparing to release a health and wellness campaign targeting low-income parents about healthy eating and cooking, and wanted to gauge the effectiveness of their campaign.

OHPI worked closely with AZDHS to design a research program to gauge the effectiveness of their health and wellness campaign. The research included a pre/post survey to understand how their audience interacted with the campaign and identified areas for improvement before its release. OHPI fielded the surveys among a target audience to capture data that was relevant and significant to AZDHS. The surveys were conducted in Spanish and English

Results

We were able to assist the Arizona Department of Health Services on the effectiveness of the proposed advertising so they could be more successful in educating Arizonans.

We identified areas for improvement in the campaigns and compared the results of their ad to English versus Spanish speaking audiences.
