Case Study

Arizona Department of Health Services

The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) mission is to promote, protect, and improve the health and wellness of individuals and communities in Arizona. AZDHS was preparing to release a health and wellness campaign targeting low-income parents about healthy eating and cooking, and wanted to gauge the effectiveness of their campaign.

OHPI worked closely with AZDHS to design a research program to gauge the effectiveness of their health and wellness campaign. The research included a pre/post survey to understand how their audience interacted with the campaign and identified areas for improvement before its release. OHPI fielded the surveys among a target audience to capture data that was relevant and significant to AZDHS. The surveys were conducted in Spanish and English

Our Process

Discover– we spend time talking to our clients so they know they are more than customers but partners. We work to understand the goals and aspirations of our clients so we can tailor research to fit their needs.

Develop– we craft actionable survey questions and tailor a sample plan to reach the right audience that is both relevant and important to our partner’s goals.

Field– we field our surveys once our partners provide their input and we provide regular updates to insure smooth and accurate fieldwork. We want our clients to feel confident about the survey process with our full transparency.

Analyze– We have experts in the corporate and political field that have over 50+ years of research experience extract the most important and interesting data from our sample.

Report– we don’t just hand you data. We provide answers with the built-out slide deck that provide data in a digestible form paired with major takeaways and insights.

We were able to assist the Arizona Department of Health Services on the effectiveness of the proposed advertising so they could be more successful in educating Arizonans.

We identified areas for improvement in the campaigns and compared the results of their ad to English versus Spanish speaking audiences.
